Curiousby nature
I’m Joost, a creative maker from Brabant, based in Utrecht, with a passion for visual media and technology. I enjoy coming up with ideas, but what I find most rewarding is bringing them to life. That might start with a camera or a visual concept, but just as easily with code, hardware, or something entirely different.
My background is in audiovisual production and communication, with a focus on design and development. This allows me to approach projects from both a creative and technical perspective. I think about the concept and its visual form, but also about feasibility, the technical side, and the best way to make an idea work.
I enjoy bridging the gap between creativity and technology. Sometimes the solution lies in visual storytelling and design; other times, an idea calls for code or custom-built hardware. I make deliberate choices based on each project’s goals and possibilities, while staying curious and open to experimentation. AI also plays a big role in my process, helping me push boundaries and make things possible that might otherwise be out of reach.
I’m at my best when I can combine my creative and technical skills throughout the entire process. From the initial concept to the final result, I enjoy turning ideas into something tangible that works in practice.

How I work
- 01
Curiosity as a driver
I always want to know how something works. Not just to move faster, but mostly to do it better.
- 02
Details make the difference
Whether it’s one frame too many, a pixel out of place, or cables tangled up in a mess, I notice it.
- 03
The power of combining
Image, technology and design strengthen each other once you bring them together.
Behind the scenes
Bring
it on.
