Your data,briefly explained.

Who is responsible

Framefuel, the portfolio of Joost Cornelissen from Utrecht, the Netherlands, is responsible for processing your data. You can email privacy questions to joost@framefuel.nl.

Contact form

If you use the contact form, I process your name, your email address and your message. I only use them to reply to you. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in answering a message you sent me yourself.

The form is sent through Resend, a service for sending email. Resend delivers your message to my mailbox and therefore acts as a processor of your data. The message is not stored in a database on this website.

To prevent abuse, the server briefly remembers (for ten minutes at most) how often a message was sent from the same IP address. This stays in the server's temporary memory and is not stored.

How long I keep your message

Your message stays in my mailbox as long as we are in contact and for twelve months at most afterwards, unless we work together and I need the data for my administration. If you want me to delete it sooner, just let me know.

Cookies and measuring

This website does not place advertising or tracking cookies. To count visits I use Vercel Analytics: it only measures anonymised page views (which page, which country, which device), without cookies and without following you across other websites. That is why there is no cookie banner.

Only functional data is used: your language choice (NL or EN), remembered in a functional cookie, and a random order of the photos, which only stays in your own browser during your visit.

Hosting and other services

I use a few services to run this website. Here they are, with what they do:

• Vercel hosts the website. On every visit Vercel processes technical data such as your IP address in server logs, to serve and protect the site. Vercel Analytics provides the anonymous visit counts.
• Sanity provides the texts and images. Images load through their CDN, which processes technical data such as your IP address.
• Resend sends the messages from the contact form, as described above.

Your rights

You can ask me which data I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to its processing. Email joost@framefuel.nl and I will reply within a month.

If you disagree with how I handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

Changes

If something changes about this website or how I handle data, I will update this statement and change the date at the top.
